Larry Lupas, Owner

About Lupas Financial

Larry Lupas is dedicated to the mission that personal finance should be “highly personal.” That means recommendations and solutions should fit your entire set of facts as best as possible, without regard to his wallet. Whether the conversation is about accident & disability income, cancer insurance, hospital indemnity coverage, life insurance or “safe” money products for IRAs, Larry will focus exclusively on what’s in your best interest and appropriate for your very specific situation.

He speaks in easy-to-understand (and mildly entertaining!) ways to de-mystify personal financial topics. Conversations and consultations are free of charge and imply no obligation whatsoever.

Larry got licensed to sell life and health insurance products and securities in fall 1992 and has been in independent practice since 2001. Since April 2020 he brings his expertise and special style to helping Postal employees with a fixed life, health, and annuity products.

Larry grew up in Northeast Ohio and graduated from Kent State University in 1982. He started a journalism career as a daily reporter, then a trade magazine editor and a freelance writer in Atlanta and Chicago.

He and his wife Liz live in Cumming GA. They attend Browns Bridge Church. Their son, Mark, and daughter, Laura, live in the Atlanta area.

Larry was the featured speaker at major USPS retirement seminars in 2003 and 2006. He’s worked with many, many hundreds of Postal employees in advising on their life insurance and TSP options.
